Software Engineer
Your job description will include the following tasks:
- Gather LIMS requirements from end users.
- Assist in writing functional specification documents.
- Work with project teams to design, develop and deploy Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) software to Core Informatics clients.
- Document and support existing client LIMS installations.
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- > 3 years experience as a software engineer.
- Strong working knowledge of Java & J2EE, JSP, SQL, Eclipse, Oracle, MySQL.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-organized individual with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Experience within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- Experience with LIMS is a major plus.
- Must be willing to travel periodically.
