The Core system includes functionality to support results validation, and lot approval and certification to ensure the highest quality products possible. Lots and batches can be accepted or rejected based on end-user or customer criteria. Batches can be checked against multivariate data specifications to ensure that quality standards are met.
Case management for forensics labs is simplified with the functionality provided by the Core LIMS for lot, batch, and electronic document management. Laboratory analysts can associate documents, test results, etc. with a case, piece of evidence, victim, suspect, or any other object a lab wishes to define. Data is always traceable, and is never lost, in order to ensure that its integrity will not be challenged.
The Core LIMS can receive customer or user specifications
and recipes from other systems used by the laboratory. It can enforce compliance
